Prospective Drivers
Bill Davis Trucking, Inc. is very proud of the people that are hired to drive our trucks. Therefore, we buy the most premium specs possible so our drivers feel right at home. BDTI is in the business of hiring teams operations, which means a great deal of drop and hook. In addition, we provide driver conveniences such as QualComm, PrePass, and IPASS. We also still believe that the relationship between the driver and management should be more like a family, with everyone working together toward common goals.

  • Drivers must meet all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
  • Must have a valid operators (CDL) license in a state of residence.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have at least 2 years or more of recent verifiable experience. Or be qualified to go through our driver training program.
  • No more than five moving violations in the last three years, no more than two violation in the last year.
  • No more than two at-fault accidents in the last three years, no more than one at-fault accident in the last year.
  • Must have a good work history.
  • Must submit to and pass DOT Physical and Drug testing requirements.
  • No serious traffic violations (such as 25 over on speed) in the last three years.
  • No DWI's in the last three years.
  • No reckless driving in the last three years.
  • Must sign for company policy manual including Drug & Alcohol policy.
  • Driver's CSA scores will be reviewed before hiring. No driver with excessive violations will be employed.


  • Employees are eligible to participate in AR BlueCross/Blue Shield Insurance on the first of the month following 30 days full-time employment. The employee is responsible for meeting the enrollment requirements.
